Why We Built This Site
Indiana gives the public access to many court records through Indiana MyCase and the Indiana Rules on Access to Court Records, while county agency records are shaped by the Indiana Access to Public Records Act, Ind. Code 5-14-3. The hard part is knowing which office holds the file you want. The Madison County Clerk of the Circuit Court handles court filings, marriage licenses, certified court copies, and clerk record functions. The Madison Circuit and Superior Courts handle local trial-court cases, including probate matters. The Sheriff's Department manages jail, warrant, incident-report, crash-report, and local background-check records. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee notes, and request paths for those offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
